I just finished my second refill of both the color and photo carts for a Lexmark Z51. As I have read in one of the posts, the first refill took about 5cc's of each color but the second only took about 2-3 cc's each. According to the post it seems to be caused by air bubbles.
My question is about the second tip listed for the lexmark. John Anderson mentioned inserting a second injector into the second hole and sucking out the air while injecting ink in the other hole. Unfortunately, it states that he hasn't actually tried this.
I would assume that the cart will run out of ink before the lexmark program shows it should be refilled. I would rather not have to "fight" to get the clear top of the cart.
has anybody tried this second tip? has it worked?
thanks
