Epson Continuous Flow System

The bottles on the right hold enough ink for thousands of
prints. The bottles of ink are connected to the inkjet
cartridges through a ribbon of vinyl tubing.

The tubes are inserted into bulk ink bottles, one for each
color. As you can see the bottles sit on the outside of the
printer and don't take up much space.

The clear bracket is used to adjust the length of the tubing
so that the carriage can move back and forth unobstructed.
You can see the different ink colors through the clear vinyl tubing.

You can see here how the tubing is connected to the cartridges.
These are specially modified cartridges that were developed
for Continuous Flow Systems. The cartridge covers are permanently
removed when the system is installed.
